An absolute disaster. I will never understand why airports and tourism—something that should be relaxing and enjoyable—are organized in such a way that you're constantly surrounded by staff who rip you off and frustrate you.
Upon arrival, you're immediately ripped off by the taxi drivers. On the way back to the airport, they try to charge you even more because they know you have to go back anyway.
The airport staff is unfriendly. Furthermore, the airlines—in this case, Aeroméxico—seem to be deliberately targeting tourists to find reasons to charge extra for everything.

Small airport, easy to get around!

Terrible place. The Volaris staff is rude and overbearing, and they try to charge you for everything, even breathing. They claim they don't have a terminal to process payments, yet they demand your card details, including the CVV number and expiration date. They schedule you for two hours before your departure, and then there's no staff. They don't open on time, and the service is atrocious. They also don't allow the drive-through to enter the airport, and taxis are incredibly expensive. Definitely use a different airport.
